About JPB
"Sounds like Billy Joel meets Josh Groban as performed by Willy Wonka"
Billboard Award-winning singer and songwriter Jeffrey Paul Bobrick (JPB) is a dynamic artist celebrated for his whimsical music and rich baritone voice. Seamlessly blending musical theater, pop, rock, and folk styles, JPB has been praised as a "brave artist" by the legendary Nile Rodgers. His work is equal parts funny, touching, and always entertaining.
JPB’s 2007 EP When You Are Free garnered widespread acclaim, with his song Broken Tomorrow featured on Neil Young's Songs About War. His heartfelt tribute to Michael Jackson, Michael (The One and Only), debuted in 2009 and was performed for thousands of fans at Harlem’s Memorial for Michael in 2010. His web series American Idol Response amassed over 125,000 views, and in 2011, he was named Nokia's "Best Singer," starring in their Don't Fence Me In ad campaign.
JPB’s versatility shines through his meaningful contributions to causes he’s passionate about. He wrote the jingle for Angel Wings International, a nonprofit providing medical relief to Haiti, and performed as a Hearts and Voices artist, bringing concerts to hospitals.
His musical Chutzpah!—featuring his original music and lyrics—raised funds for Camp del Corazon through staged workshops in New York City. His original holiday song It's Chanukah! has become a fan favorite, while his comedic flair took center stage in 2019 with the viral music video Tweetin’ Donald.
After a pandemic-era hiatus to care for his parents, JPB returned to the music scene in 2025 with The Meaning of Music, an engaging YouTube series exploring the emotional and cultural impact of iconic songs.
As an accomplished actor, JPB has appeared in films (Economics 101, The Butcher and the Housewife), theater (Off-Broadway's Religion and Jigsaw), and national tours (Babes in Toyland, South Pacific).
From whimsical anthems to heartfelt ballads, JPB continues to inspire and entertain with his passion for storytelling and his belief in the transformative power of music.
